Go Indo’s Volunteering and Raising Funds
In August 2018, the island of Lombok was hit by massive earthquakes. Go Indo set up a successful fundraising campaign, through Dutch & Australian social media. Our team was able to provide isolated villages with necessary basic resources such as medicines, water, food, blankets, school materials and more. In total we went out with a fully loaded truck 8 times. Our team personally delivered the resources by truck, and when the infrastructure was too damaged, we continued by motorbike. Go Indo’s team also handed out water purification buckets to villages to overcome the drinking water scarcity at that time. The fundraising has already ended.
