Day 1. Labuan Bajo – Batu Cermin – Goa Rangko – Labuan Bajo
It takes 1 hour and 30 minutes to fly directly from Bali to Labuan Bajo. You will be picked up from the airport by the driver. After check-in your private driver and tour guide will be ready for the first day of exploration around Labuan Bajo! The first stop is Batu Cermin, a mirror stone cave in the mountainous landscape of West Manggarai. After this, the journey continues to a small fishing port from where you will sail to Goa Rangko by boat. After a short walk you will reach this wondrous cave adorned by stalactites, stalagmites and clear blue water. You can swim and relax here before you will return to your hotel. Overnight in Labuan Bajo.
Day 2. Labuan Bajo – Kukusan island
Prepare a small bag for today’s camping trip. Your bags are kept in your hotel. After lunch you will go to Waecicu beach with your tour guide. A lovely beach where locals like to swim
and do snorkeling. You will depart by local fishing boat to one of the uninhabited islands off the coast of Labuan Bajo. You will camp here overnight and in the evening a barbecue will be prepared for you from the fish caught during the day. During the day there is plenty of opportunity to do snorkeling, swimming and perhaps help your guide catching fish for dinner.
Day 3. Kukusan island – Cunca Rami waterfall – Lingko Cara spiderweb ricefields -Ruteng
After sunrise you will return to Labuan Bajo where you will collect your bags and have breakfast. After breakfast, depart for Cunca Rami waterfall. The driver will take you to the trekking starting point from where you will trek through rice fields and forests for up to 1 hour before arriving at the waterfall. Here you can take a cooling dip. After the trek, the
journey continues to Ruteng. On the way you will have lunch in the eco homestay in the village of Tado. Here you can walk through the rice fields or relax in the comfortable restaurant.
Before arriving in Ruteng, visit Lingko cara to see the rice fields from the hill that form like spider web. In the evening arrival in Ruteng where you will spend the night.
Day 4. Ruteng: Liang bua cave – Tengku Lese waterfall
After breakfast you will discover the surroundings of Ruteng! Ruteng is the largest town in West Manggarai and has many churches and a small town centre. You will visit Liang Bua, a limestone cave where fossils of the first inhabitant of Flores is discovered! This ancient hobbit-like people were called ‘Orang Flores’ and were only discovered a few
years ago in this very cave. The fossil remains can be admired in the nearby museum, which you’ll visit as well. After Liang Bua you will visit Tengku Lese Waterfall. In the afternoon you will meet a local family in kampung Nekang with whom you will have coffee in their local home. This is a unique way to meet the locals and see their way of life up-close. Overnight in Ruteng.
Day 5. Ruteng – Dintor beach
After checking out of the homestay in Ruteng, you will drive for about 3 hours towards the coast of West Manggarai. Here you will visit Dintor beach. You spend the night in a bungalow surrounded by rice fields. You can enjoy the peaceful scenery here from your terrace. Overnight in Dintor.
Day 6. Dintor – Wae Rebo traditional village
Today you will travel to the isolated traditional village of Wae Rebo, nestled between the ridges of West Manggarai. The inhabitants still live here as their ancestors lived. The trek takes about 3 hours through the cool rainforest. While you walk you will be serenaded by the tropical birds and you can refresh yourself in the fresh river water. Once you arrive in Wae Rebo, you will participate in local activities so that you can get a good idea of the way of life and customs in this village. Together with your guide, you can share stories and culture with the local residents of Wae Rebo. Overnight in Wae Rebo.
Day 7. Wae Rebo – Labe
You spend the day in Wae Rebo where the local residents introduce you to the local way of life and their daily activities. After lunch in the traditional village, depart for Labe. Here you will spend the night in a local homestay.
Day 8. Labe – Mules island
After breakfast, depart by local fishing boat for Mules Island. From the Flores coast, the island has the shape of a sleeping woman, the locals affectionately call the island ‘Sleeping Beauty’. The island has white and dark sand beaches and is surrounded by crystal clear
waters. Here you will discover Mules on foot and by snorkel for the next few days! Camping trip on Mules island beach.
Day 9. Mules island – Labuan Bajo
You have a modest breakfast on the beach and depart by fishing boat. Here your driver will be waiting to take you back to Labuan Bajo. This ride takes about 5 hours. Overnight in your hotel in Labuan Bajo.
Day 10. Labuan Bajo – Komodo Airport
Transportation to Komodo Airport.

Receive all information by filling in the booking form above. The booking form is non-binding, meaning that after you click ‘send’ you do not make a reservation yet. You’ll receive an email from info@go-indo.com with the complete price, itinerary and list of accommodations. If satisfied, you can reserve the tourpackage by paying a deposit(20% of the complete travel sum).
Reservation for a tourpackage chosen from ‘Sailing Komodo’ and/or ‘Overland tours’: To make a reservation pay the deposit of 20% of the complete travel sum to Go Indo. Thirty days before departure the complete travel sum must be paid to Go Indo.
Reservation for a tourpackage chosen from ‘Day tours’ and/or ‘Special activities’: To make a reservation pay the deposit of 20% of the complete travel sum to Go Indo. 24 hours before the day tour or special activity starts, the complete travel sum must be paid to Go Indo.
Cancellation policy
For cancelling a tourpackage chosen from ‘Sailing Komodo’ and/or ‘Overland Tours’: In case you would like to cancel your reservation, please let us know at least sixty days before departure. In this case your deposit(20% of the complete travel sum) will be fully returned to you. In case you already paid the complete travel sum and cancel at least sixty days before departure, Go Indo will return 100% of your payment. In case you cancel within sixty days before departure, Go Indo cannot return the deposit due to booked reservations & travel preparations.
For cancelling ‘Day tours’ and ‘Special activities’: please let us know 7 days in advance. In this case your deposit(20% of the complete travel sum) will be fully returned to you. In case you already paid the complete travel sum and cancel at least seven days before the day tour or special activity starts, Go Indo will return 100% of your payment. In case you cancel within seven days before the day tour or special activity starts, Go Indo cannot return the deposit due to travel preparations.
Travel insurance
We suggest all travellers to always travel to Indonesia with a travel insurance from their home country. Travel insurances cover unexpected expenses and this way you can travel with peace of mind.
