Boat in Komodo National Park
Your boat features two levels: Below deck, enjoy a dining area for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with unlimited mineral water, coffee, and tea, plus fresh fruit and snacks throughout the day. Private cabins and a bathroom with a freshwater shower and toilet are also below deck. We recommend sleeping without AC to enjoy the soothing sound of the waves. On the top deck, relax on lounge chairs and beanbags. The boat meets all safety requirements. Your experienced captain navigates based on currents and weather conditions.

- Please inform us in advance if you wish to scuba dive during the tour.
- The itinerary may be adjusted by the tour guide or captain based on sea conditions, but we will aim to visit all planned destinations.

Accomodation:
During this tour you will spend the nights on your boat. The price depends on your preference between Standard, Comfortable or Luxury regarding the boat and the amount of the guests.
Standard boat: Two decked boat with two private cabins and freshwater shower with toilet below deck. In the private cabins are 2 bunkbeds and a fan.
Comfortable boat: Two decked boat with minimum two private cabins and freshwater shower with toilet below deck. In the private cabins are 2 bunkbeds and air-conditioning.
Luxury boat: Two decked boat with minimum two private cabins and freshwater shower with toilet below deck. In the private cabins are double beds and air-conditioning.
Day 1. Labuan bajo – Bidadari island – Hatamin island – Sabolo island
You will be picked up from Komodo Airport by Go Indo’s tour guide and driver and will be taken directly to the boat at the port of Labuan Bajo. Before embarking to the boat we stop by a supermarket in case you’d like to purchase something. Once you are all ready for the journey, the lazy pirate tour can begin! The first stop is on Bidadari island, meaning ‘angel island’. Bidadari island definitely lives up to its name with soft white beaches surrounded by green vegetation. Here you can snorkeling and relax on the white sandy beach. After that the journey will proceed to Hatamin island, a very tiny island with a white sandy beach where corals are replanted and protected by a community called ‘Coral Guardians’. You can do snorkeling and as well relax on the beach. At last, you sail to Sabolo island, also called Pirate island, to stay overnight at the beautiful cottage located on the white sandy beach island. Tip: Watch the sunset from the small hill of Sabolo island.
Day 2. Sabolo island – Sabolo kecil island – Seraya kecil island – Seraya besar island – Sabolo island
Today we suggest you wake up early to watch the oceanic sunrise, directly from your cottage!
After breakfast your tour guide will guide you to the best snorkeling spots, just in front of your cottage and around Sabolo island. You will then visit Sabolo kecil island where more snorkeling, swimming and exploring can be done. After that we visit the local fisherman village in Seraya besar island and afterwards visit Seraya kecil island for some more swimming, snorkeling and relaxing before you return to your cottages in Sabolo island where you will stay overnight again.
Day 3. Sabolo island – Kanawa island – Sebayur besar island – Sebayur kecil island – Siaba besar
After breakfast you will leave your cottage from Sabolo island and check in on our floating hotel, a wooden sailing boat. You will Sail to Kanawa island, which will take about 1 hour. Sit back and enjoy the view on the way! There’s plenty mineral water, coffee, tea and snacks. Don’t hesitate to ask any questions to your tour guide and boatcrew. In Kanawa island you can snorkeling and relaxing on the beach. Today you will also visit Sebayur kecil island and Siaba besar island. It is possible to stay on the boat for some relaxation, explore the rich coral underwater paradise with your guide or hang out on the beaches. Your floating hotel boat docks in the small bay of Siaba besar island, where you will spend the first night in your floating hotel surrounded by thousands of stars!
Day 4. Siaba besar island– Gili lawa laut – Gili lawa carat
After having breakfast our guide will guide you to do snorkeling in Siaba besar island, the local people called this place ‘turtle city’ because there are so many green turtle chilling in this spot. This reef is home to many sea turtles and colorful fish. Such a wonderful experience to swim along the turtles while admiring the healthy coral reef. Your tour guide knows the stream of the currents and will show you around. Please take your time to enjoy this beautiful spot.
After that the boat will sail to the north of Komodo where you visit Gili lawa laut and Gili lawa darat, where snorkeling and swimming can be done as well. There are also beaches and small deserted islands around here to explore.
In the afternoon around 17pm you can join your tour guide to climb the hill of Gili lawa darat to watch the sunset from here. Then back to the boat to having dinner and overnight stay on the boat.
Day 5. Gili lawa darat – Karang makasar – Padar island – Long beach – Komodo traditional village – Lasa island
While you’re having breakfast, the boat sails to Karang Makassar. Karang makassar is a tiny sandbank where you can do snorkeling with manta-rays. These majestic sea creatures are, although they look quite big and impressive, very friendly. Keep your distance and enjoy this impressive moment. After this you proceed your trip to Padar island. This is one of the most beautiful islands of Komodo National Park. Here you will do the trekking to the top of Padar island. The climb of about 30 minutes is well worth it: from here you have a unique view over the many coastlines with its white beaches and the typical landscape of Komodo. After this, the trip continues to Long Beach, a beautiful pink sandy beach due to red coralbeds surrounding the island. Off the coast of Long Beach snorkelers can indulge in the colorful coral reef. A true paradise! In the afternoon, after lunch, you will visit Komodo village to see the traditional fisherman village. They have lived on the island for many years together with the Komodo dragons.
After a long day filled with impressions, your boat anchors in front of Lasa island where you will stay overnight.
Day 6. Loh liang – Pink beach – Loh buaya – Mangroves at sea
After breakfast prepare yourself for trekking in Loh liang in Komodo island to observe the Varanus Komodoensis or Komodo dragons in their natural habitat. Here, on Komodo Island and Rinca Island exists the last place in the world where Komodo dragons still live in the wild. A certified national park ranger will accompany you during the trekking. You can choose here between a short(1 hour) and long trekking(2,5 hours), depending on your preference. After the trekking the trip will continue to Pink beach where you can do snorkeling and relax on the beach. After that the boat will sail to Loh buaya located on Rinca island where you will do the second trekking to see the Komodo dragons. Lastly, your boat will sail you to a mangrove island in the middle of the ocean where flying foxes rest during the daytime. As the sun sets, enjoy the views from the boat while the thousands of fruit bats flying out from the mangrove: a spectacular view. Enjoy your last night on your floating hotel!
Day 7. Rinca island traditional village – Menjerite – Kelor island – Labuan bajo
After breakfast, your tour guide shows you around the traditional fishermen village of Rinca island. You’ll visit the local school and their enthusiasic students and mingle with the local people. Your tourguide will be a useful translator here! Sometimes you can see the Komodo dragons enter the village to attack domestic animals. After that you visit Menjerite and Kelor island to do snorkeling, relaxing on the white sandy beach islands and explore the small island hill of Kelor Island to see a beautiful view. In the afternoon your boat will sail you back to the harbor of Labuan Bajo. Your driver will transfer you to the airport, your hotel in Labuan Bajo or perhaps you embark on another fun trip that Go Indo offers.

If satisfied, you can reserve the tourpackage by paying a deposit(20% of the complete travel sum).
Reservation for a tourpackage chosen from ‘Sailing Komodo’ and/or ‘Overland tours’: To make a reservation pay the deposit of 20% of the complete travel sum to Go Indo. Thirty days before departure the complete travel sum must be paid to Go Indo.
Reservation for a tourpackage chosen from ‘Day tours’ and/or ‘Special activities’: To make a reservation pay the deposit of 20% of the complete travel sum to Go Indo. 24 hours before the day tour or special activity starts, the complete travel sum must be paid to Go Indo.
Cancellation policy
For cancelling a tourpackage chosen from ‘Sailing Komodo’ and/or ‘Overland Tours’: In case you would like to cancel your reservation, please let us know at least sixty days before departure. In this case your deposit(20% of the complete travel sum) will be fully returned to you. In case you already paid the complete travel sum and cancel at least sixty days before departure, Go Indo will return 100% of your payment. In case you cancel within sixty days before departure, Go Indo cannot return the deposit due to booked reservations & travel preparations.
For cancelling ‘Day tours’ and ‘Special activities’: please let us know 7 days in advance. In this case your deposit(20% of the complete travel sum) will be fully returned to you. In case you already paid the complete travel sum and cancel at least seven days before the day tour or special activity starts, Go Indo will return 100% of your payment. In case you cancel within seven days before the day tour or special activity starts, Go Indo cannot return the deposit due to travel preparations.
